Main purpose of TOPIO will be to:
- Research and develop procedures for participatory action involving stakeholders in order to co-construct for landscape management and planning through means of citizen science, EO, Artificial Intelligence and Public participation GIS.
- Promote knowledge and expertise exchange of all the partners to improve innovation and scientific excellence in the field of Landscape Ecology.
- Address networking gaps and deficiencies between TOPIO partners and secure the sustainability of the overall methodology.
TOPIO will motivate citizens and stakeholders to:
- Contribute in the definition and implementation of landscape policies.
- Play an active part in setting Landscape Quality Objectives (LQOs).
- Co-implement protection, management and planning measures.
